They Will Inherit the War You Did Not Stop

Henry Rollins is a powerful orator (White Noise Insanity).

After discussing the pain that war causes, and how that pain “radiates” outward, he asks his audience to get angry and get shit done.

“I’m not saying to get up and do something,
I’m begging you to get up and do something.
Because if you don’t get up and do something it doesn’t get done.”

There is so much to be done.

Start by finding that “jewel of rage”.  Get pissed off, then get active.  Fight war and hate.  Go in for an office visit with your state Rep and Senator.  Be creative, and spread the message.

  2. Henry is brilliant ! What the fuck is wrong with people I have a friend a good friend who lives in Austin in a huge house, its got the pool the massive big screen, the guest house , the four car garage.
Yet he wants to warn me about Islamic Fascism, he wants to make me see the danger to my children and America. He is convinced that if we dont fight them over there they will come and get us over hear.
and I say hey man wtf you talking about, like whos going to get you, how they going to come all the way to Austin, knock on your door and shoot you. They will have a bomb he says and other WTF we have to stop them look what happened with Hitler.
I know hundred of arguments by now so lets not waste our time with them and their rebuttal. I am wondering about a different thing, when you look at my friends behaviour and then aggregate it to the broader collective it resemble NPD Narcisitic personality disorder a
At least five of the following are necessary for a diagnosis (as with many DSM diagnoses, they must form a pervasive pattern; for example, a person who shows these criteria only in one or two relationships or situations would not properly be diagnosed with NPD):
    1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance
    2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
    3. believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by other special people
    4. requires excessive admiration
    5. strong sense of entitlement
    6. takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
    7. lacks empathy
    8. is often envious or believes others are envious of him or her
    9. arrogant affect.
Has the American nation got a personality disorder ? Is the nation mentally healthy?

Prozac raises serotinin and lowers dopermine, feelings of love creates the opposite neuro chemical reaction, pyschatric disorders have risen 5 fold in the last 30 years. Are we cahging the national character by wide spread use of pyschiatric drugs?

  3. Can I get a Hell yeah!

  4. Yes, Henry Rollins is quite the speaker. He never seems to fail and fully engaging his audience.

  5. Too bad Pelosi and Reid don’t have 10% of Rollins cajones.

If they did, maybe the funding for this war would be over and the Articles of Impeachment would’ve been ordered.

    Rollins for Congress?

  6. Pelosi is someones mum, shes got no fire in her belly, I was watching her give very high praise to Bushes courage on immigration, it was the way she said it like shes organising tea and bicuits, whe refused to say what she wold do abotu health and war spending, she has not real insight into how much trouble the country is in so she has no real urgency.

  7. 1. Kay,
    Hell Yeah!

    2. Craig,
    Indeed he is.
    As for the disorder bit,
most people have some kind of tendency,
the sticky question is to what degree it interferes with
    one’s social interaction.

    3. Rafael,
    Oh yes, Hell yeah!

    4. Emily,
The audience in that clip looked closely engaged, wide awake,
and in agreement. It was fantastic to watch his speech through
    their expressions.

    5. Chris,
We can have a whole slate of candidates from stand up comedy.
Maybe he can help Pelosi and Reid find their anger?

    6. Craig,
Her rhetorical style could use a bit of help.
